Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC)
An SDDC runs compute, storage and networking as software on standard hardware, so you can provision, move and scale resources from one console. We design, deploy and support SDDC platforms for private and hybrid cloud.

Overview
What is a software-defined data center?
In a software-defined data center, servers, storage and network are virtualised and managed through software instead of being configured box by box. Policies and automation decide where workloads run and what resources they get.
This makes it faster to deliver new services, easier to move workloads between your own data center and the cloud, and simpler to run day to day.
- Virtualised servers on standard x86 hardware
- Software-defined storage pooled across nodes
- Software-defined networking and security policies
- Central management and automation
- Integration with private and public cloud
Our SDDC Solutions
An SDDC built around your needs
Full stack virtualisation
Virtualise servers, storage and networking so the whole data center can adapt as business needs change.
Private and public cloud
Run a private cloud for control and connect to public cloud for extra capacity or lower cost.
Designed for you
A single platform sized and configured for your applications, users and budget.
Benefits
Why businesses move to SDDC
Simpler operations
Infrastructure is managed from one place, with automated provisioning that cuts manual work.
Scale on demand
Add resources as you need them without buying hardware for every new project.
Ready for new technology
A software layer that adapts to new tools and business models as they arrive.
How We Work
From assessment to a running platform
Assess
We review your applications, current hardware and where you want to be in three to five years.
Design
We choose the platform, size the hardware and plan networking, storage and security.
Deploy
We build the platform, move workloads in stages and test failover.
Support
We monitor, patch and tune the platform, and help your team run it.

FAQs
Software-defined data center FAQs
Software-defined data center FAQs
Is SDDC only for large enterprises?
No. Mid-sized businesses also use SDDC platforms, often starting with a small cluster and growing it as needs increase.
Can we reuse our existing servers?
Sometimes. We check whether your current hardware is supported by the chosen platform before recommending new equipment.
How is SDDC different from virtualisation?
Server virtualisation is one part of it. An SDDC also virtualises storage and networking and manages all three through one set of policies and tools.
Can an SDDC connect to the public cloud?
Yes. Most SDDC platforms support hybrid setups, so you can move or extend workloads to public cloud when needed.
