Data Center Compute and Hyper Converged Infrastructure
Compute is the processing power behind every application you run. We size, supply and set up hyper converged infrastructure, converged systems, servers and virtual desktops that match your workloads, and manage them from one place so capacity grows without surprise costs.

Overview
What is hyper converged infrastructure?
Hyper converged infrastructure (HCI) combines compute, storage and networking in one software-defined platform that runs on standard x86 servers called nodes. Instead of separate servers, storage arrays and SAN switches, you manage everything from a single console.
To add capacity, you add another node. This makes HCI a good fit for virtualisation, VDI, branch offices and private cloud. For some workloads, traditional servers or converged infrastructure are still the better choice, and we help you decide.
- One console for compute, storage and virtual networking
- Scale by adding nodes, without a forklift upgrade
- Built-in data protection and replication
Common Problems
Compute problems we fix
If any of these sound familiar, your compute layer is due for a rethink.
Scattered management
Servers, storage and hypervisors managed in separate tools by separate people.
Inconsistent configuration
Each server set up differently, which makes patching and troubleshooting slow.
Scaling limits
Adding capacity means a large, disruptive upgrade instead of a simple addition.
Server to storage bottlenecks
Slow links between servers and shared storage hold back busy applications.
No processing at the edge
Branch offices depend on the central data center for every task.
Security gaps
Old firmware and unpatched hosts leave openings for attackers.
Our Compute Offerings
Compute platforms we design and support
We work with leading OEMs and pick the platform that fits your workloads, team skills and budget.
Hyper converged infrastructure (HCI)
Software-defined compute and storage on standard nodes, managed from one console and scaled node by node.
Converged infrastructure
Pre-tested bundles of servers, storage and networking from one vendor stack, deployed faster with fewer surprises.
FlexPod solutions
Cisco compute and networking with NetApp storage in a validated design for enterprise workloads.
Rack and blade servers
Rack servers for general workloads and blade servers where space and power per rack are limited.
VDI and thin clients
Virtual desktops hosted in your data center, delivered to thin clients for secure, central control.
GPU compute
GPU servers for AI, analytics and rendering, with the power and cooling planning they need.
How We Size
How we size compute for your workloads
Measure
We collect CPU, memory, storage and IOPS data from your current servers.
Model
We model growth and failover needs, so the platform still copes when a node is down.
Choose
We compare HCI, converged and server options on cost, performance and skills.
Deploy
We install, migrate workloads and hand over with documentation and training.
Why Tech Guru
Compute that fits today and tomorrow
Since 2016 we have supplied and supported servers and infrastructure for businesses across India. We design every compute platform with enough headroom for failover, targeting 99.9% uptime for the services it runs.
- Authorised partner for leading server and HCI brands
- Sizing based on measured data, not guesswork
- Migration of existing workloads included in the plan
- AMC and managed support after deployment
FAQs
Hyper converged infrastructure FAQs
Hyper Converged Infrastructure FAQs
What is hyper converged infrastructure?
Hyper converged infrastructure (HCI) is a software-defined platform that combines compute, storage and networking on standard servers called nodes, managed from one console.
What is the difference between converged and hyper converged infrastructure?
Converged infrastructure bundles separate server, storage and network hardware into a tested package. Hyper converged infrastructure puts compute and storage into the same nodes and manages them through software.
When should a business move to HCI?
HCI suits businesses that run many virtual machines, want simpler management, plan to grow in small steps, or need VDI or branch office infrastructure.
What is compute in a data center?
Compute is the processing layer of a data center: the servers, CPUs, GPUs and memory that run applications and virtual machines.
Do you supply rack and blade servers?
Yes. We supply and support rack and blade servers from leading brands. For server hardware and storage bundles, see our server and storage solutions page.
